The New Born Crips (aka NBC) were believed to be one of the earliest Crip sets to form in Toronto's Rexdale community back in the early 1990's. The NBC was founded in the Jamestown Crescent neighbourhood and was the core group of different sets that made up the Jamestown Crew collective. Although this gang's origins are in Rexdale, it is believed they had members spread throughout the GTA and surrounding areas. The NBC were said to be one of the most lethal and respected sets in all of Rexdale with close to 70 hardcore members.
