Greenbrae Circuit (aka GBC) is a public housing community in the northeast suburb of Scarborough in the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada located in the Lawrence Ave. East and Markham road area. This area houses a large population of West Indian and 1st generation Canadians along with a high number of South Asian families. At one time during the late 1990s and early 2000, Greenbrae Circuit had a seedy reputation because of the rampant drug trade around the area due to close proximity to neighborhoods like Orton Park or Galloway and the violence that it brings. As of the late-2000s, most crime within the area is subtle.
