Having his fair share of hardships, P.Reign (aka The King) knows all about overcoming adversity. Hailing from the streets of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, P.Reign has lost countless family members and friends to gun violence and incarceration. Despite this, he managed to escape one of the most notorious neighbourhoods in Toronto (Kingston-Galloway), but also positioned himself at the forefront of Canadian music with the help of his team Reps-Up and friend/fellow artist Drake. P.Reign helped create a foundation for music that is just as real as his surroundings that helped shape his life to date. But unfortunately, the Reps-Up team was dismantled by court cases and tragedy which would ultimately lead to its demise. This collapse forced P.Reign to hone his talent and pursue his dream to enter the music industry as a solo artist. The spirit in which Reps-Up was built on continues to blossom through music. Compared to the likes of T.I., P.Reign's music addresses the complexities of street-life, good and bad; that of women and the relentless pursuit of everything he never had growing up. With zero marketing other than word of mouth, P.Reign is an artist destined for greatness in the near future.
