151 Original Block Pirus

The West Side (W/S) 151 Original Block Pirus, also known as the "151 Neighborhood Pirus" (151NHP), "Original Block Neighborhood Pirus" (OBNHP) and the "West Side 151 Pirus" (WS 151P), are a medium size African American street gang founded on the west side of Compton, California. Their territory runs from Central Avenue on the west to Wilmington Avenue in the east, between Alondra Blvd in the south towards Compton Blvd in the north. This gang shares parts of their neighborhood with the Compton Varrio 155, a rival Hispanic. Other rivals include the Compton Varrio Alondra 13, Palmer Blocc Compton Crips, Nutty Blocc Compton Crips, Latana Blocc Compton Crips, Acacia Blocc Compton Crips, Farm Dog Compton Crips, Spook Town Compton Crips, the Raymond Street Hustler Compton Crips, Twilight Zone Compton Crips and the Park Village Compton Crips. The 151 Pirus were once rivals of the Tragniew Park Compton Crips back in the 1990's but have since called a truce; one of the few Piru gangs to form an alliance with Crips. Members of this gang will often sport the color burgundy (and to a lessor extent red) to show their affiliation to the Piru "card". They are allies of the Campenella Park Pirus, West Side Piru, 145 Neighborhood Pirus and the Cedar Block Pirus. The 151 Original Block Pirus falls under the Neighbor Hood Pirus card and were one of the first Piru sets to claim the Piru.
