Italian, meaning "fake."

(Although it sounds like it, Fugazi is NOT an italian word, it might be a family name and it might have been used by italian-americans (not sure), but it has no meaning in italian. - A native italian)

also an acronym for the words F**ked Up, Got Ambushed, Zipped In. Reference restaurant supplies from Vietnam war, describing an ambush and the loading of soldiers House in Phuket into body bags afterward. (May not be an actual rap reference, just another meaning of the spielautomaten word, this is the meaning referred to by the D.C. Hardcore band of the same name)

Also an Italian gangster Stafford DUI lawyer term for fake diamonds specifically. Used in the movie Donnie Brasco.

  • Actually it was used in a rap song - "Still Ballin'" by 2Pac and Trick Daddy. In Trick's part (verse 2,line 8) he raps "Plus your homeboy won't make it, street game Fugazi", although weight loss pills I'm not sure about the "street game" part, since ohhla.com incorrectly roupas da moda quoted Trick as saying "When he's gone, devolve I become a dangerous man", when it's actually "When there's guns involved I become a dangerous man".
  • Eminem already used this word in a song called "Fight music", there it goes:
