Verdun aka Ver-DUMP

Verdun is located between PSC and Lasalle and for years has been known as the most drug-depressed area in the city of montreal. At one point this was a decent neighboorhood to live in , but within last 20 years drugs has really really diminished the potential of this neighborhood.

People here dont live in apartment buildings really, since there arent that many, but mostly they live in rundown duplexes with the classic montreal-styled spiral staircases, and gunshot-styled houses as well.

crack addicts, and heroin needles all over the streets are very normal in Verdun. At one point the problem got so out of hand with drugs and STDs that clinics opened up around the area that provide free condoms and needles, because the drug problem was so bad that they were going to use them anyway, might as well do it safely.

The people who live here are mostly white-trash , english speaking people. Literally everyone who lives here is in some way connected to drugs or ppl who do/sell them.

Verdun for years has been known around Montreal as the Dump because of the way the streets and the people look. Some places in Verdun resemble a 3rd-world country.
