Uplands

Located off Hunt Club Rd. in the South end Uplands is a large and economically diverse neighbourhood, not all of Uplands is subject to the negative image associated with the area. For the first part of Uplands Dr. there is Ottawa Housing Townhomes to the left and more affluent houses to the right but as the street progresses through the neighbourhood the more affluent houses turn into townhomes, most of the criminal activity in the area is centered around the Uplands courts and the townhomes east of McArthy St. ; Uplands is home to large Somali and Arab communities among others.
