Santana Blocc Compton Crips

The Santana Blocc Compton Crips (aka SBCC) started off as the Santana Boys in 1976 that included a guy named Kim "Bullet" Tate. In 1978 Ken "Yogi" Tate and Rob Franklin organized other sets around the Oaks Park area of Compton, California and they took on the name Santana Blocc Crips. After the murder of Bullet, who was killed by a member of the Lueders Park Piru in April of 1978, they bacame one of the most active Crip gangs in Compton waging war with Lueders Park Piru and several other Piru sets in the late 1970s and early 1980s including the Elm Street Pirus and the Mob Piru. This gang is believed to be one of the oldest Crip sets to form in Compton and is currently engaged in a war with the Atlantic Drive Compton Crips along with the South Side Compton Crips, Original Front Hood Compton Crips, Original Swamp Compton Crips, Carver Park Compton Crips, the Compton Varrio Tortilla Flats and the Compton Varrio Largo 36. They are considered allies of the Poccet Hood Compton Crips, Palmer Blocc Compton Crips and the Anzac Grape Compton Crips.
