The Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips is a street gang based in Los Angeles, California. In 1976, the Rollin' 60's formed as a faction of the original Crip gang, the Westside Crips, and have since grown. They are also engaged in the most violent gang rivalry between two gangs in the history of Los Angeles gang conflict, as the body count with the Rollin' 60s Crips is in the several hundreds. They are considered the most violent and notorious black gang in all of LA County. Their main rival is the Eight Tray Gangster Crips to the East and have been so for over thirty years. The Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, although commonly beefing with other Crip sets, also rival the Van Ness Gangster gang, a Bloods set directly north of their turf. Other gangs considered enemies of the Rollin 60s include all Inglewood Bloods such as the Inglewood Family Gang, the Crenshaw Mafia Gang, Harvard Park Brims, Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods, the Black P Stones, all Hoover Criminals (in particular the 5-Deuce Hoover Gangster Crips, 59, 83 and the 74 Hoover Criminals Gang), the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips, Grape Street Watts Crips, all Avalon Gangster Crips, Mansfield Gangster Crips and the School Yard Crips. The Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips control a territory around Slauson Avenue to the north, and are bounded by Florence to the south. They are also bounded by the Eight Tray Gangster Crips on Western Avenue, to the east. Members of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips are identified by tattoos as other gang members and throw up the "deuces" but with a thumb (2 fingers and a thumb), but additionally wear Seattle Mariners caps for the large "S" to signify Sixty or North Carolina University caps for the blue color and the "NC" and New York Yankees caps which represents the Neighbor Hood Crips card. Also, like other Crip sets, they wear blue and mark their territory with blue graffiti. This gang is considered a Neighbor Hood Crips set and are allies of other NHCs such as the 67 Neighbor Hood Crips, 55 Neighbor Hood Crips and 46 Neighbor Hood Crips as well as the East Coast Crips. The 60s and all the "Owes" were allied during the 1980s but that is not the case today. In 2003 City Attorney filed a gang injunction against the Rollin 60s Crips and they had specified 31 men that were members of the 60s, but some have suggested that the 60s were being unfairly targeted and some mentioned that the injunction included individuals that had not had police contact in years.
