Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips
The West Side (W/S) Rollin 40s Neighborhood Crips are an African American street gang founded in the 1970's from the west side (west of the 110 Freeway) of South Los Angeles, California. The 40s fall under the Neighbor Hood Crips/West Side Crips card. Their territory covers a large area from Figueroa Street in the East to Crenshaw Blvd. in the west, and from Vernon Avenue in the North down to 48th street or so to the South. The 40's have had past conflicts with the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods, Black P. Stones, Inglewood Family Gang, Centinela Park Family Bloods, Fruit Town Brims, Van Ness Gangster Brims, Harvard Park Brims, 43 Hoover Criminals Gang, 52 Hoover Gangster Crips, 59 Hoover Criminals Gang, the Playboy Gangster Crips, School Yard Crips, the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips, Rollin 30's Harlem Crips (although a truce was declared between the two feuding gangs), all East Coast Crips, the Gardena Shotgun Crips and the 52 Broadway Gangster Crips. The Rollin 40s used to be allies of the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, but that is no longer the case . However, they are still allies of the Raymond Avenue Crips, Rollin 30's Harlem Crips (excluding the "Darkside" clique who still consider the 30s Crips rivals), Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips, Rollin 90s Neighborhood Crips, all East Coast Crips and all Blocc Crips. Members of the 40s are known to wear baby blue and Florida Marlins or Milwaukee Brewers apparel to represent their gang.
