Founded in 1975, the West Side (W/S) Rollin 20s NeighborHood Blood gang have the largest territory of any Bloods gang in Los Angeles County, and have the 3rd largest neighborhood of black gangs in LA County. In the 1950s there was a gang in this area called Blood Alley on Cordova Street near the Santa Monica Freeway. In the early 1970s when black gangs resurged, the youth continued the Blood identity. They identified as Neighborhood, then Neighborhood Blood, then Neighborhood Rollin 20s Blood. They were once closely associated with Hoover Family, a neighborhood by Hoover Park on Adams and Hoover, but they faded out around 1978. The Rollin 20s eventually developed into 5 subsets: 25th, 27th, 29th, 2nd Avenues (SAG), and Black Demon Soldiers (BDS). In California, their main rivals include the 18th Street gang and the Rollin 30's Harlem Crips, but are also considered enemies of the Rollin 40s, School Yard Crips, the Mansfield Gangster Crips and the West Boulevard Crips. Their allies include the Neighbor Hood Pirus, the Outlaw 20s Blood gang, Fruit Town Brims, Harvard Park Brims, Black P Stones, Crenshaw Mafia Gang, and the Inglewood Family Gang.
