Pueblo Del Rio
From Rap Dictionary
The Pueblo Del Rio housing project is a 450-unit complex in Los Angeles, California opened in 1942 when the National Housing Administration – established in 1937 to impose order, slow down indiscriminate urban sprawl and provide low income housing – determined to build a Los Angeles subdivision to house the growing mass of workers, mostly Mexican, employed by the war industry, one of the city’s biggest sources of income at the time. Today, it is the headquarters of a Bloods gang called the Pueblo Bishops.
