PSC also known as "The Point" is located in the Borough called "SudOuest" in Southwest-Montreal not too far from the districts of Little-Burgundy and Verdun.

Pointe-St-Charles was one of Canada's first industrial slums. The majority of its residents were Irish along with a sizable English and Scots immigrant population. The neighbourhood is today one of the most ethnically diverse in Canada and in the World. This neighbourhood, like many was hit hard by the crack/cocaine epidemic in the 80's, and the community has struggled to regain its sense of local pride from since. Drug dealers and prostitution is prevalent within Pointe-St-Charles area, along with an emergence of street gang activity.
