Penny/Michelle Heights

Penny/Michelle Heights is a small neighbourhood located in the West end of Ottawa, Canada bounded by Bayshore Drive to the west, the Ottawa River to the north, Pinecrest Road to the east and Richmond Road to the south. The neighbourhood along with nearby Britannia, Bayshore, Lincoln Heights and Foster Farm is known to have some of the highest crime rates in the city. This area is also considered to be one of the poorest districts outside of the downtown core. The majority of residential units consist of small homes, townhouses and apartment buildings. The area contains a major movie theater called "The Coliseum" operated by Famous Players. It is also located close to Bayshore Shopping Centre, one of the main shopping centres of the city.
