Neighbor Hood Pirus
From Rap Dictionary
The West Side (W/S) Neighbor Hood Pirus are a large African American street gang in the western section of Inglewood, California founded in the 1970's. This gang was sanctioned in the Blood alliance by the Rollin 20s NeighborHood Blood gang, who members maintain a close relationship with along with the Avenue Piru Gang, Queen Street Bloods and the Original Block Piru 151 in Compton. This gang is also connected to the Double II Bloods from Newark, New Jersey. They occupy a large area from Centinela Avenue in the north to Florence Avenue to the south between La Cienega Blvd. and Edgewood Street, just west of Centinela Avenue. This gang is also represented in Compton by the Neighborhood Pirus 145. The Neighbor Hood Pirus have a fierce rivalry with the Crenshaw Mafia Gang, Denver Lane Bloods and Inglewood Family Gang, which accounts for the largest and one of the few Blood on Blood rivalries in Los Angeles. Most of their Crip rivals exist outside of Inglewood. They are also considered rivals of the Hispanic Inglewood 13 gang.
