Memphis, Tennessee is the largest city in Tennessee (1.3 million) and hails a large black rap culture. Memphis surprisingly came out in the rap scene before many others, even Atlanta, in 1990. Memphis is a violent city and home to an increasing amounts of robberies and gangs.
