Marlborough

Marlborough is a rough neighbourhood in N.E. Calgary. The neighbourhood has a large Vietnamese and Philipino population. Asian gangs such as the FOBS and the FK control the drug trade in this section of the city. There are also a few black gangs in the area. Marlborough Mall and Marlborough Station are the centre of the neighbourhood. The local newspaper has reported the mall to be a recruiting ground for young prositutes. Several shootings and stabbings have happened at the mall over the last few years, however the neighbourhood is not as bad as it was in the 90's.
