Le Sud-Ouest

Le Sud-Ouest is a borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Located southwest of downtown Montreal, the borough is bordered to the northwest by Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, to the north by Westmount, to the northeast by Ville-Marie, to the south by Verdun, and to the west by LaSalle. To its southeast it lies along the Saint Lawrence River. The borough comprises of several distinct districts, mainly with working-class and industrial origins, grouped around the Lachine Canal. These include Saint-Henri, Little Burgundy, and Griffintown to the north of the canal, and Côte-Saint-Paul, Pointe-Saint-Charles, and Ville Émard to its south.
