Kwajo "Cinqo" Boateng, is the CEO and co-founder of G7 Universe Inc. (G7); a music content company that has embraced the advancements of digital media and technology in the urban entertainment sector. Kwajo Cinqo is also an accomplished music producer, and one half of the Canadian Hip Hop group Ghetto Concept (GC). As a member of GC Kwajo Cinqo won two Juno Awards which are the Canadian equivalent to the Grammy’s. Kwajo Cinqo was raised the notorious Westside Toronto neighborhood "Rexdale" by his mother. He inherited his mothers’ entrepreneurial spirit and has always been motivated to become a self-made millionaire. Kwajo Cinqo oversees G7 and its subsidiary companies and is poised to bring forth this conglomerate to the forefront of the urban entertainment industry. G7 encompasses a broad range of businesses including recording, music publishing, digital distribution, artist management, merchandising, video and film production, recording facility, and concerts.

Music has always been at the heart of Kwajo Cinqo’s career. He is a recognized music producer in Canada as well as the US. Kwajo Cinqo’s powerhouse production style placed him in high demand in the Hollywood film circuit. Kwajo has produced various commercial radio spots for such stations as FLOW 935, HOT 97 and WBLS. He also co-scored MGM’s movie “Soul Plane” alongside famed Wu tang clan producer the RZA then moving on to score “How to throw a Party at the Playboy Mansion with Red&Meth” for Playboy TV. This next level entrepreneur is determined to deliver, rising to the occasion every time.

Kwajo Cinqo possesses a vast knowledge of sound recording and studio engineering equipment. His tools of choice in audio production are a Mac G5, Logic Pro 8, live musicians, Duet, keyboard, the Blue microphone and Event speakers. “In order to succeed in this industry you must have a keen ear for good quality music, I pride myself in delivering high quality product in an efficient time frame” Kwajo Cinqo

Kwajo’s entrepreneurial spirit has translated into a collection of business outside of music as well. Kwajo Cinqo was born to Ghanaian (West Africa) parents in Canada, and has established a gold mining company in his native land called Gold Cedi Goldfields Ltd.. Ghana formerly the “Gold Coast” is a mineral rich country with the primary resource being gold. Kwajo’s company provides employment and support for the villages where mining operations are active. As well the company provides scholarships for Ghanaian students to further their studies in Canada.

Dealing in precious metals has also led Kwajo Cinqo to break new ground in the jewelry industry. In 2009 Kwajo “Cinqo the Jeweler” Boateng launched Ice Vault Jewelry Co. in partnership with Bijoux Designs in Milano Italy and DDG Diamonds from Los Angeles. Through this company Kwajo Cinqo provides custom jewelry for various artist, athletes, and executives.

In 2009 Kwajo Cinqo will release his first solo album “Corporate Hussle” on G7 Universe a subsidiary of Global 7 Entertainment Group. The first single from this album is entitled “She Stop Traffic”
