Holly Hood Pirus

The Holly Hood Pirus are a small African American street gang in the city of Compton, California. Their name derives from a street in the heart of their territory running north and south from Compton Blvd. to Alondra Blvd named Holly Avenue. Although once regarded as a one of the most active gangs in Compton, today this gang is not as formidable as it once was. The HHP have had past conflicts with the Kelly Park Compton Crips, Atlantic Drive Compton Crips, Neighborhood Compton Crips, Campenella Park Pirus, and the Lueders Park Piru. This gang are also rivals of all Compton Varrio gangs. The Holly Hood Pirus are allies of the Lime Hood Piru, Mob Piru and the Cross Atlantic Pirus, and like all other Pirus, tend to wear burgundy along with the traditional color red associated with the Bloods.
