Ho-Neueve

Better known as Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Ho-Neueve is a residential borough located in the East-End of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Often portrayed as the city's poorest district, Ho-Neueve is home to many strip clubs, pubs and after hour clubs. Areas such as Adam and Davidson and Préfontaine/Ste-Catherine E. are fondly known for its unabashed crack hookers and drug dealers. In 2004, census showed that 29 per cent of Hochelagans were on welfare and living below the national poverty level.
