Born Christa Gonzales, Graph Nobel is the multitalented young Canadian protegé of producer Doc. Hailing from Toronto, the half Trinidadian, half Spanish Graph Nobel has developed a musical style that defies common category. She is inspired by influences No Doubt, Blondie, Mos Def, Garbage, WuTang and Bob Marley. Combining her love of roots music, hip-hop and alt-pop, her style is truly a hybrid without being forced. Her songs are enduring, intelligent, thougthful variations on relationships and social commentary, bringing a fresh approach to the tired themes of today's pop songs.
