There are five boroughs in NYC, and next to them in brackets are some famous neighbourhoods in that borough:

• Brooklyn (Marcy)

• The Bronx (Soundview)

• Queens (Queensbridge, Jamaica, Hollis)

• Manhattan (Harlem)

• Staten Island (Park Hill)

(Sometimes Harlem is referred to as the Sixth Borough, but it is not officially a borough of New York City)
