Don Mount Court
From Rap Dictionary
noun
Don Mount Court
Don Mount Court is a 232 unit social housing complex built in 1969 on the south side of Dundas Street, west of Broadview in downtown Toronto. Built in two sections, separated by a public park, the project is built in a style that isolates tenants from the rest of the community. There are no public streets running through the development and the apartment numbering system doesn't have logic to it, as do traditional addresses on a street. The sense is of a world unto itself. It, as its neighbouring community of Regent Park, is slated for demolition and redevelopment in the near future.
