Biography

One of the most promising talents to emerge out of Toronto, Canada's underground hiphop scene, Divo has won much critical praise and commercial success for his eloquent word play and vocal abilities. In 1997 he was introduced to Dubble J who was then a popular DJ who regularly released mix tapes around the city. Nominated for Rap Recording of the Year by the Urban Music Association of Canada in 2000, this artists has done collaborations with other Canadian acts such as Classified, Bishop, Juno award winners Latoya & Miranda and Choclair. Apart from his love of music, Divo also has a diploma in Graphic Design and does all of the graphic design and advertising work for Q IT UP RECORDS and it's affiliates.
