DALHOUSIE

A neighbourhood in the North Western portion of Calgary. It consists of mainly small homes, with a population of over 9 000. Major portion of residents live in project/low income housing in the southern section of the neighbourhood and are of minority background. This section is divided to the south by Crowfoot Tr, to the north by Dalhousie Drive, to the east by shagghanapi and Dalhousie Station to the west. Although not completely a hood, dalhousies future is cause for concern with large amounts of drug deals during the summer taking place and o naverage 3 to 5 dozen arrests of residents. This neighbourhood consists of two schools and a junior high school.
