Connection Young Bloods

The South Side Connection Bloods (aka the Connection Young Bloods or CYB) are a large multi-racial territorial street gang comprised of young adults from the Grassways community, better known as Connections; a subsidized housing complex in the Jane and Finch neighbourhood of North York in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Although this gang claims "South Side", it is actually in reference to their neighbourhood being geographically located south of Finch Ave. West as opposed to being south of Wilson Avenue, which is used as the unofficial divider between gangs situated along north/south Jane Street (all neighbourhoods south of Wilson Avenue along Jane are controlled by the Crips or The Gatorz, where as those north of Wilson Avenue are Bloods territory except for those claiming Up-Top Crips). CYB members are very territorial in nature, loyal to their neighbourhood with a strong sense of community pride that trickles down to younger members united under the Bloods card. Although members are involved in an array of different criminal activities, police stated that they are more business orientated where as the Crips who dwell north of Finch Ave. West are known as the aggressors in most conflicts between the two groups. This gang's close proximity to rival Crip turf in the Up-Top section of Jane and Finch has made it one of the more active Blood gangs in the Finch Ave. West corridor. The Connection Young Bloods are clicked up with The Lanes Crew and are generally friendly towards the Ardwick Blood Crew. Members are sworn enemies of the Up-Top Driftwood Crips, Up-Top Shoreshot Crips, Up-Top G-Side Crips, the Trethewey Gangsta Killaz, Doomstown Rexdale Crips, Stovetop Rexdale Crips, Tandridge Rexdale Crips and the South Side Falstaff Crips.
