Black Panther movement

This movement was founded in Oakland, California by Huey P. Newton, H.R. Brown and Bobby Seale. Fought for the rights of black to bear arms like white people in the late 1960's and the early 1970's. "The only party your body should be parting to, is panther power on the hour from the rebel to you" -- Public Enemy (Rebel Without a Pause [1988]).
