Black P. Stone City Side Bloods
The West Side (W/S) Black P. Stones City (or "B"ity) Bloods are one of two Black P. Stones sets that were both started in South Los Angeles, California by T. Rodgers in the late 1960s. This particular set is the original of the two Black P. Stones. The Black P Stone “City” is located in the West Adams / Mid-City district of South Los Angeles. Their neighborhood is bordered by Washington Blvd in the north to Adams Blvd in the south, between Crenshaw Blvd. in the west towards Arlington Blvd in the east. The Santa Monica Freeway runs through the center of their turf. The City Stones were previously known as the "21st Street Black P. Stones" at a time when there were no cliques. That means everyone from The City claimed 21st Street as it was part of the BPS identity. During the 1990s, cliques formed new identities under the "City Stone" umbrella. According to the LAPD, this gang had an estimated 300 members as of 2004. When the war between the Black P. Stone Jungles and 18th Street Gang irrupted in 1994, the P.Stones City Side were the first to join the conflict, followed by the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods in 1996 and then later the Fruit Town Brims. This conflict solidified the relationship between the Black P. Stones, Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods and the Fruit Town Brims. In addition to the 18th Street Gang, the City Stones are also bitter rivals of the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, West Boulevard Crips, Mansfield Gangster Crips, the School Yard Crips and the Geer Gang Crips.
