Biography

Bishop Brigante is a charasmatic rapper from Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the fore front of the new generation of emerging talent. He grew up in the Glamorgan Housing complex in Scarborough, where he continues to keep close ties to the community. Bishop held the title of Freestyle Friday champion for three weeks, and, along with Stretch Diesel (of the rap group S.L.U.G.), took second place in the Jumpoff.tv 2007 World Rap Championships Toronto division. He has released numerous mixtapes, and has had several hits on radio and MuchMusic. His debut album, Life of a Gambler is slated for a mid 2008 release, and will feature guest appearances from Snoop Dogg and Nate Dogg, as well as Canadian artists such as Kardinal Offishall, Drake and many others.
