Bayshore
From Rap Dictionary
Located in the west end of Ottawa, west of Penny/Michelle Heights, Bayshore is a large working class neighbourhood home to many cultures some of which include Arabs, Somalians, Sudanese, Afghanis, East Indians, Carribeans, Europeans and many more. Bayshore is bounded by Carling Ave. to the North, the 417 to the West, Penny/Michelle Heights to the east and Richmond Road to the South. The largest attractions in the community include Bayshore Shopping Centre, The Colliseum movie thearte and nearby Andrew Hayden Park. Although only consisting of 2 streets (Woodridge Crescent and Bayshore Drive), Bayshore still has a considerably high population, due in most part to high density living spaces. The neighborhood is home to one of the larger gangs in Ottawa, the West Side Bloods (formerly the Double R Bloods).
