Q-VO (Que Hubo)

Chicano market salutation of "What's new... What's happening?", first made commercial to the Chicano audience in Q-VO Magazine which is owned by Benjamin Francisco Hernandez and first published in 1979, a magazine in English to Chicano and Latino audiences which included use of Calo, which is a Chicano dialect of Spanish. "Q-VO, a qui'stoy MC Kid Frost" -- Kid Frost (La Raza [1991]).
