151 Original Block Pirus

The West Side (W/S) Bompton 151 Original Block Pirus are a medium size African American street gang whose territory is concentrated along 151st Street in Compton, California. This particular gang was one of the first sets to claim the Piru card. Although their strong hold is on 151 street, their territory runs from Central Ave on the West to Wilmington Ave on the East, Alondra Blvd on the South and Compton Blvd on the North. The 151 Pirus once had a feud with the Tragniew Park Compton Crips back in the 1990's but had since called a truce. However, they are still considered rivals to other gangs such as the Twilight Zone Compton Crips, Compton Varrio 155, Compton Varrio Alondra 13, Palmer Blocc Compton Crips, Nutty Blocc Compton Crips, Latana Blocc Compton Crips, the Raymond Street Hustler Compton Crips and the Park Village Compton Crips. Members of this gang will often sport the color burgundy (and to a lessor extent, red) to show their affiliation to the Piru "card". They are allies of the Campenella Park Pirus, West Side Piru, 145 Neighborhood Pirus and the Cedar Block Pirus. The 151 Original Block Pirus are also considered Neighbor Hood Pirus.
